Southwest Saskatchewan's Big Band
The Swift Current Jazz Orchestra is a community-based, non-profit jazz ensemble that showcases the talents of local musicians. Under the vision and direction of Greg McLean, the jazz orchestra showcases a standard big band instrumentation of saxophones, trumpets, trombones and rhythm section that creates a traditional “Big Band” sound. Performers include local music teachers, business professionals, university and high school students and active musicians from the Swift Current area.
